Everything
about the Piaffe saddle has been developed with the rider’s
position and horse’s performance in mind, based on tried
and tested principles. The saddle is straight-cut to allow
maximum movement of the horse’s shoulders. The long
flaps, with comfortable knee-pads, the extended stirrup bar
and the supportive dished cantle all enable the rider to sit
deep with a relaxed, long leg. The narrow twist of the seat
helps to give a close-contact feel. The Piaffe has a full
cut-back head and thin sweat-flaps. The panels are flocked
with pure new wool and the deeper gussets help to achieve
a balanced fit. Traditional long dressage girthing straps
require a dressage girth and allow close-contact of the lower
leg.
