Falcon

When the craftsmen at Jeffries make a bridle or saddle they use only the best quality British bridle butts from top leather dressers and curriers like J & E Sedgwick. The Falcon range of products benefit from this vast experience and the result is a range of saddlery that meets the exacting standards from today’s modern rider. All hides for Falcon bridles are carefully selected and inspected before going through scrupulous hand preparation. Rounded and sealed edges protect the fibres from the elements and sweat, as well as ensuring comfort for the horse. Stained and sealed, the leather is then buffed and polished to a fine sheen ready for stitching One person prepares the leather including the marking out, punching, edging, staining, veining and polishing. Stress points are always double hand-stitched with hand-waxed thread, ensuring security and strength. Falcon bridles are never made with less than nine stitches to the inch. The bridle is then hand-finished by person who prepared it originally including re-creasing, blocking the keepers and sealing and polishing the stud linings. All component parts used in our saddlery products including the studs, buckles and thread are of the highest quality. The leather used on Falcon bridles has a matching flesh back with self coloured stitching to satisfy the taste of today’s market. The Traditional, Falcon ranges can be purchased as complete bridles or in component parts. A full range of sizes, widths, and styles are available to allow flexibility of choice and fit for all disciplines.
